
The Filipino-American singer will be having a major show in front of her ‘kababayans’ soon.
On Tuesday, September 10, Grammy award-winning singer Olivia Rodrigo finally announced the staging of her ongoing ‘Guts World Tour’ in the Philippines.
The 21-year-old pop star will be holding the concert, which will be a Silver Star Show, at the Philippine Arena in Bocaue, Bulacan on Saturday, October 5, 2024.
According to the details in the poster, tickets for Olivia’s concert will cost Php 1,500 across the board and will go on sale beginning this Saturday, September 14 via SM Tickets’ online portal.
Seats will be assigned randomly, although those who will purchase multiple tickets in one transaction will be seated next to each other with the final seats given upon claiming of the passes.
A limit of four tickets for each person will be implemented, and can be claimed from September 28 to October 4.
Those who opt to buy offline, the passes will be available via SM Tickets branches on September 29.
Organizers also disclosed that “all net ticket proceeds will go to Olivia Rodrigo’s Fund 4 Good.”
As per details provided, the singer’s Fund 4 Good is “committed to building an equitable and just future for women and girls through direct support of community based non-profits that champion girls’ education, support, reproductive rights, and prevent gender-based violence.”
Olivia Rodrigo is known for her songs ‘drivers license,’ ‘deja vu,’ ‘good 4 u,’ ‘traitor,’ and ‘Vampire.’
In March, she released the single ‘Obsessed,’ which is part of the deluxe edition of her sophomore album ‘Guts,’ the tour’s namesake.
