NAGA City Mayor Leni Robredo said she is not entertaining discussions about a possible presidential run in 2028, stressing that raising the issue now would be a “disservice” to the people of Naga.

Robredo made the statement amid speculation about a potential political alignment with President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., who visited Naga on Saturday to inspect the implementation of the “Oplan Kontra Baha” flood control program and the Jesse M. Robredo Coliseum.

Magtrabaho muna tayo,” Robredo said.

‘Yung farthest from my mind ‘yung mga pag-uusap sa Maynila. Malayo pa yung eleksyon,” she added.

She noted that she has yet to complete a full year as mayor and said discussing the 2028 elections at this point shifts attention away from governance.

In a separate interview, Marcos said politics was not discussed during his visit.
