A house fire is a fire that occurs within a residential structure, such as a single-family home, apartment, or condominium. These fires can start from various sources, including cooking accidents, electrical malfunctions, heating equipment issues, smoking materials, candles left unattended, or even arson.
House fires can spread rapidly and pose risks to occupants, property, and neighboring structures. They can cause injuries, fatalities, and extensive damage to belongings and the building’s structure. House fires often require the intervention of firefighters to extinguish the flames and prevent further harm.

Prevention measures such as installing smoke alarms, maintaining heating and electrical systems, practicing fire safety in the kitchen, and having an evacuation plan in place can help reduce the likelihood of a house fire and mitigate its impact if one does occur.
