Palawan declares Rosmar Tan, Rendon Labador persona non grata in entire province.

Social media personalities Rosmar Tan and Rendon Labador were declared persona non grata in the entire Palawan province after a viral outreach in Coron.

The resolution submitted by all of the members of the Palawan Provincial Council declaring the social media personalities and the Team Malakas as persona non-grata in the entire Palawan province was immediately approved on the first and final reading.

The board cited the influencers’ “disorderly behavior” and actions “inimical to the morals of the community” as reasons for the declaration, which stemmed from their altercation with a staff of Coron Mayor Marjo Reyes in the municipal hall on Friday, June 14.

Team Malakas visited Coron for an outreach, but mayor’s office staff Jho Cayabyab Trinidad alleged in a social media post that they “used” the people of Coron for their vlog.

Labador and Tan’s group then had a heated argument with Trinidad in the mayor’s office.

Viral videos showed Labrador shouting and pointing at Trinidad. Later on, Trinidad posted a public apology to Tan and Labrador.

But Coron’s municipal council member John Patrick Reyes on Facebook shared a draft of a resolution seeking to declare Tan and Labrador persona non grata.

On Tuesday morning, the group issued an apology. Tan said she regretted her post as she got carried away by her emotions after the incident.

Labrador, meanwhile, said that they visited the mayor’s office as Filipinos who got hurt over Trinidad’s accusations.
