OPM Singer Juan Karlos showed care and worry for a two-month-old baby brought by her parents to his recent gig.
While performing at the Paniqui Music Fest 2024 in Tarlac, the 23-year-old singer was heard addressing the crying baby’s parents, expressing concern about the loud music and inappropriate language used in his song “Ere.”
Multiple TikTok users caught the exchange on video and shared it online.
“Two months? Ba’t mo pinaparinig ng Ere ‘yung bata?” he asked. “Two months pa lang. Maaga. Wag,” JK said.
“Umiiyak na si baby o OK lang ba iyan? Umiiyak. Kawawa naman ‘yung bata,” he added.
The OPM singer recognized how infants’ ears tend to be sensitive to loud noises and told the crowd, “So yung mga bata especially one year and below, super sensitive pa yung mga tenga nila. So as much as possible, kung dadalhin ninyo sila sa isang event, magdala kayo ng earmuff or something para hindi ma-damage yung tenga nila.”
“Maraming salamat sa suporta pero please alagaan ninyo si baby. Mas marami pa tayong kantang ilalabas. Sana marinig niya balang araw,” he added.
“Sino bang merong headphone dyan or something? Kawawa naman yung bata. Headphones na hindi na ka-on. Something na ganun,” JK also said.
He emphasized that a child’s safety should always come first at music events.
“Maraming salamat sa suporta, pero please, alagaan niyo si baby,” JK stressed. “Marami pa tayong kantang ilalabas na sana marinig n’ya balang araw.”
“Ere,” which contains curse words in its lyrics, is one of the tracks on JK’s latest album, “Sad Songs and B******* Part 1.”
