Ibinunyag ng head coach ng team na si Tim Cone na ang American-Panamanian Tony Bishop ang import player ng Barangay Ginebra para sa PBA Commissioners’ Cup. Ito ay habang inaayos pa ng isa pang import player na si Justin Brownlee ang kanyang mga legal issues tungkol sa kanyang doping test results.

Ang 6’7″ power forward na si Bishop ay dating naglaro sa Meralco Bolts noong 2021 PBA Governor’s Cup.

“He was a guy that we had such a tough time defending. He was so versatile and level headed, we can’t get under his skin,” saad ni Tim.

“He was just about ready to go to Mexico but we caught him just in time. I think he’s arriving either tomorrow morning or in the afternoon. We get to practice with him on Monday,” dagdag pa ni Tim.
